Brass jewelry will naturally oxidize to give your piece a vintage look. Most customers prefer this look, however, if you do not like this, there are a few things you can do to slow this process down. One cleaning method is to combine equal parts baking soda and salt. Add enough lemon juice to make a paste. Clean the brass with this solution and then use warm water to rinse it. Use a silver polishing cloth between wearing to also slow down the oxidation process. We are not responsible to any damage done using these methods. The best way to make it last is let it naturally oxidize.
